The World as I Knew it.

Where were you when the world went berzerk? When all that we knew with that expressive smirk, went suddenly untrue?

Where was I when the world as I knew it vanished into the smoldering coals of hellfire and we still didn't know that we blew it?

Evil exists because good does. Can't have one without the other, 'cause that's the way life works, brother.

So where were you when it all hit the fan, on some beach somewhere with your toes in the sand?

The world as I knew it is the world as we drew it, full of itself and lacking in stealth.

It pounds its heels to run a mad race, to skid to a halt in the dust of disgrace.
